To,
All CEC Members and General Secretaries.
Dear Comrades,
With the greeting for the Nations REPUBLIC Day, I wish a great prospect for our Association.
As promised in the Patna CBGM, this executive never left or hesitated to turn any stone. To our fortunate except the MYS division victimisation all our desires are fetching a positive fallout. We meet all the top executives in the Board and as well the Labour leaders of the Recogonised Federations. Considering the genuinely of the burning issues and as a remedial measure it is reliably understood Board has proposed the following:
1. Up grading ASM pay duly merging with the PB-2 with grade pay Rs. 4200,
2. Grant of UNIFORM ALLOWANCE on par with Nursing Staff,
3. Grant of WASHING ALLOWANCE as extended to other cadres by the PC,
4. Centralised Head Quarters for Station Masters ie quartered only at Junction, Major and importance stations as in the case of other category, especially for the betterment of the family.
5. Change in the Patern of Lady Station Masters Uniform.
Our major demand of eliminating the minimum grade pay of Rs.2800 is marching towards a safe destination. But, that is not the end of it. As per the procedure, it has to be agreed by the external establishments such as DOPT, Finance Ministry and Cabinet. Of course, though it was proclaimed to be a success in getting the minimum grade eliminated, the final outcome is the TRIUMPH.
Myself with COS undertook a trip to NDLS from18.01 to 25.01.10, to pursue our subjects in the Railway Board, Registration and to discuss the Running Allowance case scheduled on 05th Feb 10, in the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. Due to unscheduled arrival of our Train, we could do the barest minimum. The MYS division Victimisation is still not to our satisfaction.
Under this situation our CEC is meeting on 19th and 20th Feb 2010 at Nagpur. Unless and until we do extraordinary exercise, these issues will be in cold storage. Come to the CEC meeting with regenerated vigor and ideas to turn the proposals into reality. All the exclusive CEC Members must attend the 19th Feb without fail.
As you know, in the escalating price index, our day today expenses and the tour expenses are on the increasing side and all of you must remit the special fund of Rs.500 from each SM as well the Membership quota without fail. A special emphasis is you must submit the list of Membership for the year 2009 with the quota along with your written report. Financial reserve is also a factor for any kind of programme drafting.
In the recent days due our continuous pursuance, we could get the orders extending the Night Duty Allowance and Nation Holiday Allowance, benefit to our SMs in grade 4800 and 5400. Please visit our official web site www.aisma.in and get the details of the RB orders.
Dear Comrades, all that is expected from you is dedicated leadership. Leaders are made and not born. And the best leaders are those that know how to customize their leadership styles to address the specific needs of different subordinates. Leadership is defined as the capacity to lead. Let us Empower others, Let us have Leverage more than our own capability, Articulate visions, embody values and create an environment within which things can be achieved.
My CEC Team members are certainly the proud Leaders; I Believe. See you in Nagpur, with new Vigour and Vision.
Secretary General
