The Central Executive Committee wishes a Happy GANESH Chaturth to all SMs and their beloved family Members.
Ganesh Chaturthi is a widely observed religious festival celebrating the birth of Lord Ganesha, who is worshipped as the God of good fortune and prosperity. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great enthusiasm by the devotees across India by offering prayers and preparing sweet dishes. Hope, You, too find time to celebrate this festive, because our proposed ACTION is postponed.
Mumbai celebrates this auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi festival with a popular theme. No wonder then, that this year's theme, in the wake of Anna Hazare's 13-day fast, is about the Gandhian's campaign against corruption. Everyone supported Anna and raised their voice against corruption by wearing a white Gandhi cap with the words 'I Am Anna' written across on both the sides. The Ganpati idol has the God of Wisdom showing his solidarity with Anna and the masses by adorning a white Gandhi cap.
We, the STATION MASTERS of Indian Railways, celebrate this Ganesh Chaturthi with the aim and theme of achieving our Min GP Rs.4600, Safety Allowance etc., with the proposed action plan of ‘STOPPING ALL TRAINS AT ALL SIGNALS FOR 2 MINIUTES’.
Along with the celebrations, keep the preparations in full vigor. Don’t fall a prey to petty talks of the jealous detractors or threats from the bureaucracy or its agents. The proposed strike of AISMA is steered under the cover of INDUSTRIAL DISPUTE ACT 1947. We have served a strike notice in , FORM-L, as enumerated in Rule 71 of the said ID ACT on Chairman, Railway Board on 4th August 2011 with copy to The Hon’ble Minister for Railways, New Delhi. All General Managers of Zonal Railways, The Hon’ble Minister for Labour, New Delhi, The Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), New Delhi. and All Regional Labour Commissioners (Central) Therefore the proposed direct action of AISMA is a LEGAL STRIKE well protected under the rights enshrined in the Constitution of India. We just, postponed our proposed action till 26th September 2011, consequent to the invention of Chief Labor Commissioner. Take time to gear up.
As you all know we have followed the path of yesterdays Mahatma Gandhi to today’s Anna Hazare’s, by conducting various peaceful means including signature campaign, demos, rallies and hunger fast. When all the peaceful means have not been taken note by Railway Ministry , we finally decided to go on direct trade union action STRIKE.
