Everybody gets delighted at the arrival of Holi as the season itself is so gay. Holi is also called the Spring Festival - as it marks the arrival of spring the season of hope and joy. The gloom of the winter goes away as Holi promises of bright summer days. Nature too, it seems, rejoices at the arrival of Holi.
Spring is our favorite season. There's just something magical about watching the trees and flowers sprout a sea of vibrant colors, as they renew every cell in their anatomies. But tell me... as nature begins its cycle of rejuvenation, have you considered being in flow with it by rejuvenating yourSELF too?
What if 2/3 Fast is deferred; Don’t get sick. I want to bring to your attention the science of mind-body healing. Mind-body healing operates on the belief that our minds are naturally capable of healing our physical bodies and emotions too. And by healing, I don't just mean alleviating illnesses - I'm talking about achieving a holistic state of well being where you're not just healthy, but also energized, mindful and in tune with your body. I mean we got many more dates of our choice. Energize your mind and body on this Holi and wholly rejuvenate.
Fine, Why this narrative and decorations, Yes! my dear Friends, Some of my close associates in the Central Council are not in line with the decision that was taken in the Emergency CEC Meeting held by the side of the Fasting pandal on 2nd March 2011 i.e., deferring the chain programmes as decided in continuation with the Indefinite Fast. The decision is certainly a hard one to digest for few those who really toiled for 2/3 programme right from 30th Jan 2011, i.e. after the CEC meeting at
Had the preparations in all other Zones had been as that of the Northern peninsula and had been upto our expectations, then, certainly there would have been a sea change. However, we have made the progress. We will achieve. I hear your voice “”restless preparation for the fast…is wasted; expectation…has been slashed; Cadre demoralsed””, is certainly a mirage. Please don't hate, it's too big a burden to bear, Dear Friends.
There may be hurdles in many forms, including that of forced deferment of the proposed 2/3 Indefinite Fast etc., Mind the ants -they climb over, climb under, climb around and keep looking for another way, to achieve THEIR GOAL.
Yes ! Dear Masters, Ultimately, our target is still brightly positioned; nothing should come in between while targeting. Even, a slight miscalculation may backfire and spoil the effects.
Considering the Universal Principle i.e. “Supervisor to be placed above the Supervised” our Grade Pay should be Rs.4600. However, now the Railways have agreed upon to revise it to Rs.4200. We should be more practical rather than hypothetical. Therefore, presently, our interim plea is to get the agreed Grade Pay, which is being delayed by Ministry of Finance and pending with Ministry of Railways for further disposal.
We fought many historic wars with sheer determination, dedication and impeccable planning for getting the orders for Cadre Restructuring, Terrycot Uniform etc., and the bureaucrats were shattered and made to retreat despite their mighty powers. It was something never unheard or seen by the bureaucrats, the true commitment and sacrifice by every one of the rank and file of yester years, and the strategies adopted by our beloved leaders at different situation won the battle. The self is not something ready-made, but something in continuous formation through choice of action. The struggle never ends with that. AISMA is born out of moral values and have grown out of various struggles and in the process, we have enlarged as the most organized force, the most articulate voices in the society and specially in the Trade Union front.
May our devoted journey enable us to understand that the voice of the world Sama, Dana, Bheda and Danda – but for a pretty long time this tool Danda was allowed to rest. I feel now the time has come to polish it with our will and steadfastness. The Railway Board, by issuing some unwanted and unscrupulous instructions, which has been further funnily mis-interpreted by many Divisional authorities for the 2/3 Fast programme, think that by using a Safety-pin they can bend a Shackle-pin. But, on the other hand, certainly, the Home work done by our stalwarts made even the Hub, the Railway Board , to think twice and more.
Our Organisation is built on ideas and greater vision of society in which our rights are recognized owing to our capacity of mobilizing which has been a unique asset, then and now. We assure you, that the day is not too far off, to achieve our Minimum, compromised, Grade Pay of Rs.4200 and other demands, for the betterment of our service conditions and further a better future. Rally around AISMA. LET US REPEAT OUR PAST HISTORY.
Yes! Success depends on attitude too. If you think you are beaten, you are. If you think you dare not, you won't. If you'd like to win but think you can't, then it is almost certain you won’t! Dear Comrades, AISMA assures you a better prospect and future, which no one else can boost of. Therefore, we must rise to the occasion and set the target to achieve the same. All the Central Council Members, I mean the Divisional Secretaries, Dvl Sec-Finance, General Secretaries, Zonal Sec-Finance and my COBs must attend. In between, you should call your Divisional/Zonal meetings and analyse the best possible means to polish the tool Danda.
Holi, the Colour is not an integral part of all Indian festivities alone, but also of The Mighty Masters who have decided to sow active seeds of actions and reap the fluttering flowers as colourful as THE HOLI, in the near future. A splash of red I send You, a tinge of blue to cool the hue, a rush of green for warmth and zest, for You and Your family wishes best. Master!
