-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Based on our repeated actions like imposing caution in station limit,imposing security patrol & filing FIR with GRP/DSC &giving a/c messages (from 29/1/10),the following press release had been given by PRO/SRLY ADDITIONAL SECURITY PROVIDED (Press release by S.Rly) During the last week, frequent incidents of placing obstruction like iron pieces and rails on the railway track near Ambattur have been reported affecting the safety and punctuality of trains. In order to prevent such incidents, as a precautionary measure, Railway Police Force (RPF) and Railway Police Special Force (RPSF)have been deployed in the section and RPF Dog Squad has been pressed into service. Government Railway Police has also deployed personnel for this purpose. Chief Security Commissioner and other Railway Security officials conducted a joint supervision and issued necessary instructions to prevent such incidents. Sd/-
