Proceeding of the CEC Meeting held at BBS on 28.06.09
The Second meeting of the 47th CEC commenced at 10.00 hrs in UTTAM MANDAP, Bhubaneswar (BBS) of ECoR with the welcome address by Com.Gour Chandra Mohanty Dy.SG-II . The Central President narrated the latest happening regarding the Committee to Prioritize the issues pertaining to replacement pay structure arising out of implementations of the 6th CPC and its extended agenda, the failure of sincere efforts of Advisor-Safety etc., He also raised his strong voice against lethargic attitude of some the Team Members in the CEC. He was specific in narrating the lapses of Executive Members and Sr.Comrades’ while implementing the DURG CEC decisions. He once again reiterated the importance of enrolling more than 25000 SM in Membership Drive. He then called for the Secretary General’s report.
SG placed his detailed written report for the period from 25.01.09 ie from the DURG CECM covering the Emergency CECM held in NDLS on 19.02.09 to date (His full version posted in www.aisma.in). He explained in detail about their sojourn to NDLS and he complimented the active role of Com.R.N.CHATURBEDI G.S/WCR and he was declared to the “MAN OF THE CEC”.
The Central Secretary –Finance placed his detailed written report. CSF emphasized the need and importance of adhering to the CEC Direction to collect Rs.500 from each member as special fund.
Then President called for the General Secretaries report. Eleven General Secretaries/ Representatives tabled their repots (SCR,SR and WCR placed written reports) covering the activities of their Zones with the compliance report of the Last CEC directives. GS/SR reiteterated to take up their Zonal issue by the Centre i.e. Proper and dignified Uniform to Lady SMs, Employment to Wards of Medically decategorised SMs, to include Parents in the Family Pass, Supervisory/ Duel Charge Allowance.
Com.N.C.BORA Dy.SS/Aujuri /NFR (098542 32222) is co-opted as Central Vice President for the vacant slot of NFR.
The Meeting was adjourned for 12.00 hrs for conducting General Body Meeting of ECoR and Lunch. In the General Body of ECoR the following were elected as the office bearers: Zonal President- - Com.S.N. Mishra TI/ECoR, General Secretary- Com.D.N.TRIPATHY Dy.SS/KUR and ZSF Com. S.N.DAS
Post Lunch session commenced at 15.00 hrs. After the detailed discussions on the reports Secretary General and Secretary-Finance; both the reports were passed. The House adjourned at 18.00 hrs for variety programme and Dinner. During the variety programme Com.R.N.CHATURBEDI G.S/WCR who was declared as “MAN OF THE CEC” was honored with a momoento by the Central President.
Post Dinner session commenced at 20.00 Hrs. During the session the house discussed the future course of action, prevailing political scenario and Members feelings. The General Secretaries and the activists vented their position and taking stock of the situation the house decided the following:
- The Central Office Bears to Tour over the adjacent Zones/Divisions and apprise the Cadre men and the newly elected Members of Parliament.
- Post Card to Hon’ble Minister of Railway by the spouses of STATION MASTERS on or before 13th August 09.
- All the General Secretaries/ Divisional Secretaries to send Memorandum to MR thro their jurstiction MPs between 1st August to 30th August. 2009.
- To commence a INDEFENITE HUNGER SATHYAGRAHA by the Central President, Secretary General and others infront of official residence of Chairman- Railway Board at NDLS from 02nd October 2009.

We request you to revise the recruitment grade of SMs to PB2 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 and order to pay Rs.1500 pm as Additional Allowance and 30% as Safety Allowance towards Safety acquiescence so as to maintain the status of my spouse among others within the family and in the society.
