Proceedings of the Emergency meeting held at 1600 Hrs on 26/09/2011 at NDLS.

The Meeting commenced with the Presidential address by Com. M.P. Mishra. He narrated the proceedings of the conciliation and the stand of the Association. Then  the Secretary General  placed his  report covering  the activities of the CEC for the preparation of the Strike and he  narrated upto this conciliation held on 26/9/2011. He in his satisfied note over the preparation of the Zonal Railways insisted that till the Grade Pay and Safety allowance etc is achieved the cadre has to be constantly be kept in preparedness for any action in short notice.

The President called for the General Secretaries report and all the GS except few placed their enthusiastic report. It is really pleasing that most of the Zone’s preparedness to achieve our Demands and to keep the cadre ready for ACTION.

Following were the chain of actions approved by the CEC for sensitizing the issues further.

1. Hand written POSTER CAMPAIGN from 4th October to 8th October, 2011. Besides Central demands, local issues may also be added.

2. POST CARD CAMPAIGN  to Minister of Railways from 11th October to 15th October, 2011, by all SMs.

Kindly accord minimum Grade Pay of Rs. 4600 at the earliest to achieve Railway’s goal of Safety and Efficiency in Train operations, as well to attract best talent to this important category of STATION MASTERS.

3. MEET THE MPs - All the Divisions to meet at least 4 MPs and appraise the plight and problems of the cadre and insist them to pursue through CRB or MR. A due feedback to be given by all DSs to SG with the details of the MPs name, and his acceptance.

4. DEMONSTRATION in 4 Metro Cities on 19th October, 2011.

CHENNAI (SR, SCR and SWR)

        In-charge - R. BALASUBRAMANIAN COS, Johnson Dy.SG and GS/SR.

DELHI (NR, NCR, WCR, NER and NWR)

        In-charge -   M.P.Mishra CP , R.N.Chaturvedi  Jt.SG and GS/NR.

KOLKATA (ER, NFR, SER, ECR and ECoR)

        In-charge - J.S Shinde CVP, Manoj Nair CSF and GS/ER

MUMBAI (CR, WR and SECR)

        In-charge - P.K.Das Ex CP, Com SUBHASH AVASTHI CVP and Chairman- Action Committee/CR.

The General Secretaries of SR, NR, ER and CR to coordinate with the General Secretaries concerned and share the cost of the  programme which includes - Publication materials such as Posters, Pamphlets, Shelter, Public Address system, Water etc.

5. Black Deepawali on 26th October, 2011 - WEARING BLACK BADGES or Bands on Duty. The General Secretaries / Divisional Secretaries to supply the Badges / Bands to Stations.

It is insisted to maintain adequate pressure and the cadre should be prepared to meet any eventuality in short notice. Our Prime Target is Vacation of Victimization & Minimum Grade Pay of 4600.

The meeting concluded with the vote of Thanks by GS/NR.
