SG’s VISION AND MISSION
Dear Comrades,
Confidence reposed on me is satisfying. There were much endowed and cerebral leaders who decorated the position of Secretary General of this great Association. Even though I got elected as 18th SG in the 43rd CBGM, I somehow feel it is a dream because of venerated position of our organization among Railway Trade Unions and the importance of SG in our Association. However it is the duty and responsibility to rise up to the level with the available maturity to fulfill the desire of my Brother Station Masters.
Everyone craves for some recognition. Be in any age or any sphere of life or for that matter any Association, with people around or when dealing with people or their emotion there is always a need to be recognized and treated with uniqueness. ‘Touching lives’ works wonders.
Members’ satisfaction has become a ‘Mantra’ and ‘Relationship Management’ has acquired a pivotal role everywhere. We the Station Masters and Railway men have always given our best to our Organisation, but the need to have Member Centric approach backed by such activities and initiatives have arisen in recent times.
I recognize the path of Relationship and Rational Thinking. Ultimately the Members’ Satisfaction and Achievements are the tangible visualisations for the betterment of the Association. One of the initiatives, to mention is the “Member Loyalty Campaign”, Through which I am sure the ‘Dream 25000 Members’ and ‘Better position to Masters’ can be achieved easily.
We have a lot more agenda and I primarily mark the task rather priority before us to be carried out immediately without delay is -
1. Vacation of Victimization
2. Setting aside the Pay Commission Anomalies and getting SMs due share &
3. Posting of Additional SMs.
Our Executive is not going to be a Secretary Oriented, it is a TEAM. For this TEAM the Central President Com. P.K. Dass will be the Captain and I will be the coordinator and rest all will take their position to win the fixture. Every one of the team 13 CEC Members +16 General Secretaries+3 supports, have to fulfill their assigned job.
The Team under the Captainship of Com. P.K. DASS has already taken an oath to do their best for the betterment of the cadre. Certainly WE will be the winners. For winning the match the pitch is getting prepared. The pitch, players and audience are the factor to decide the game – YES, WE CAN.
Last but not the least “Good Relationship” should always be followed by Good Service, only then, rest assured ‘Good Relationship’ will again follow. It is a Circle which also can be termed as a Wheel that can take our organisation to places.
Let’s start the mission, with vigor and enthuse towards the greater vision.
