Dear Comrades,
To be one among the crowd is NOTHING…..
To take a different path is SOMETHING……
To stand ABOVE the CROWD is EVERYTHING…….
WE CHOSE TO STAND ABOVE THE CROWD……And WE DID IT…….!!!!!!!.
My DEAR Station MASTERS…….
Amidst a recession and Trade Unions’ inactiveness - WE STOOD apart and are still going strong in Trade Unionism….AS ALWAYS.
This was possible ONLY because of YOU….. Kudos to YOU ALL…. Dear Station Masters. WE have ONCE AGAIN stood apart…shown our unanimity and Achieved our goal.
In all the four directions of this sub-continent, WE , the Station Masters have proved our might on 01-12-09… i.e. in the North – New Delhi we had a mammoth gathering of around 500 SMs of NR, NCR, WCR and NCR - Kudos to GS of NCR Com Y.S. Tommer, GS of WCR Com. R.N. CHATURBEDI and GS of NR Com. R.D. Swamy. In the East- Hajipur, we witnessed around 250 SMs under the leadership of Com. U.S. Singh & Com. R.S.K. Sharma. My special regards to Com. B.N. Choudry & Com. M.P. Mishra. In the West - Bombay had a jamboree with our President and in the South, at Secunderabad, due to the local calamity,our Proposed HUNGER fast was converted to a Special Meeting in a Marriage Hall due to the denial of Police permission on account of Law & Order and they had an effective audience with the GM. We did it. Certainly it is a NEWS.
Yes! We did it; and as desired, WE deserve the best. As such, our priority for the immediate implementation is as follows:
1. Vacation of Victimisation in MYS Division;
2. Up gradation of ASMs’ pay duly merging it with the PB-2 with grade pay of Rs. 4200;
3. Grant of UNIFORM ALLOWANCE;
4. Grant of WASHING ALLOWANCE;
5. Centralised Head Quarters for Station Masters…
6. Modification to the dress code of Lady Station Masters from Blue to Half White/Beige
7. Extended Night Duty Allowance for the GP of 4800 and 5400
8. Point Cleaning as per G& SR » RB Ref No: 2009/Safety(A&R)/19/25, New Delhi dated 03-12-2009
We cannot change what happened to us, but we can change our PERCEPTION about what happened to us. This is the key to changing our present circumstances and our future.
You all should have been aware by this time that YOU are the CAUSE and EFFECT of all that had happened. In other words, when you look at your world today, you are actually looking at yourself as you were yesterday. The world at any present moment of NOW reflects your thoughts and state of being BEFORE the present moment of NOW.
This also means that your present endeavour will fetch you a better tomorrow. WE made it; and YOU deserve the PRAISE…. WE WILL COTINUE OUR QUEST AND JOURNEY…AS EVER.
