The proposed STRIKE of STATION MASTERS on 8th September, 2011 stands postponed till 26th September, 2011, consequent to the intervention of Chief Labour Commissioner.

The Preparation for the Strike will be in full vigor till we achieve our 5 point Charter of demands.

PROCEEDINGS OF THE CONCILIATORY PROCEDINGS HELD AT NDLS ON 26.08.2011 @ 1.30 Hrs

The meeting commenced at 11.30 hours and Sri. B.K. SANWARIYA Dy.CLC (C) NDLS, the Conciliatory   Officer welcomed the participants (on behalf  of Union/Association, Com. M.P. Mishra CVP, U. John Vincent Kumar SG, R.N.Chaturvedi  Jt.SG, R.Balasubramanian COS , R.Durai Swamy GS/NR and  S.Rajagopal  ZP/SR; on behalf of  Management  Sri.D.Malick Jt. Director/IR, Sri. Hari Krishnan Dy. Director/PC, Sri.Naveen Kumar Dy. Director /E(LR)/I, Sri.Vijay Kumar SPO/NR)

After the formal introduction session, the Conciliatory   Officer asked our Association to brief the demands given in the Strike Notice. The Secretary General briefed  and narrated the  instance  of COMs Committee of 1997, 1999, Vth CPC, VIth CPC, COMs recommendations etc.,

The representatives of the Management stated that the notice of Conciliation was received only on 25.8.2011 afternoon. The demands are policy matters and require time to examine; accordingly they requested at least 45 days time.

The Union\Association (AISMA) objected this and  stated that the Strike notice with the details of the demands were dispatched on 4th August and the same was acknowledged on 9th August 2011 and objected for the 45 days time and demanded that the sitting to be slated before 7th September 2011;  the Conciliatory   Officer intervened and  settled for  30 days  time.

The Dy.CLC (C) requested the Union representatives to defer their proposed STRIKE of 8thSeptember 2011.  Further, Dy.CLC has also requested the management to hold formal bilateral discussion with the Union.

The Union / Association was advised to maintain industrial peace/harmony. The conciliation proceedings are  adjourned till 11.30  am on 26.9.2011.
