APAR – THE NEW TRANSPARENT ACR:
As per the new guidelines issued, all entries in the ACRs – now renamed as APAR [Annual Performance Appraisal Report] shall be communicated to the person concerned, by providing the Photostat / scanned copy of the report in full. This is applicable from the reporting year 2008-09 onwards. – Ref: RB No. 2009/ SCC/3/6 dated 18/8/2009. Now, there is no more secrets in the ACRs – you need not seek information under RTI act for the same.
