Three major accidents took place recently involving trains getting collided. And all these took place in Automatic Block Signaling Territory. There is provision to pass Signals at ON after a fixed interval of stopping at signals, observing all precautions. But this provision can prove fatal at times. A solution to overcome this will be providing CALLING-ON signals at all ABS signals so that the Loco Pilot is guided forward without any apprehension. As of now the dilemma in passing the signals at 'danger' persist, which ocassionally turn disastrous.
