Today (25/2/10) is "MASTERS' DAY" and it has to be celebrated every year on 25/2 in memory of late Com. P. Sivan Pillai. This was one of the decisions taken in the recently held CECM at NAGPUR and it is appreciable for taking such decision because ,when our country is acknowledging to celebrate even VALENTINES DAY, why not the proud STATION MASTERS (who play a vital role in TRANSPORTATION for our country & public service) celebrate "MASTERS' DAY".
I opened this site today with an expectation that someone wud have posted any article about MASTERS' DAY and found nothing - may be the decision taken would not have reached all. In that case, why our SG too had failed to post any article highlighting this day and explaining the mode of celebration? Taking decisions (at times on emotional situations prevailing in the house) and failing to implement the same will not be good for our Association and I request our SG to commemt on this....
Any way let us celebrate this day, by organising meetings, giving awards to "best organisational man", debates and giving publicity in press and so on...
