ALL INDIA STATION MASTERS’ ASSOCIATION
Regd. No; 1359 NEW DELHI
BANGALORE DIVISION SOUTH WESTERN ZONE
Dear Comrades,
We are very close to know WHERE DO WE STAND! After implementation of VI CPC and latest RB letters regarding promotion and MACP has disappointed beyond any one’s imagination.
This association always believes that every Railway man plays a role in the ‘wheel rolling’ of great Indian Railways’. At the same time we cannot forget or wish away the role played by you—THE STATION MASTERS. Only who know the intricacy of the Railways KNOW THAT YOU ARE THE SYSTEM OF INDIAN RAILWAYS.
ON 25th Feb we will be paying homage to our beloved leader Com. SIVAN PILLAI whose famous words, "IF I DIE, ONLY MY FAMILY WILL SUFFER. BUT IF I FEAR TO DIE 30000 STATION MASTERS FAMILY WILL SUFFER" - will reverberate in every AISMA members' heart.
We all are well aware of the MACP fiasco of our learned Sr.DPO/ SBC. So far we have seen 4 lists each one contradicting the other in norms followed. Still 75% SM’s are not covered. And no reason has been given for non-considering some ones name.
It is a well known fact that no post can be kept vacant anticipating some one who does not exist in the system. Instead it should be filled with available / eligible candidate. On this basis all eligible ASMs must be immediately promoted against 4200 Grade Pay vacancies.
It is already end of February - still no sign of alert notice regarding periodical general transfer. This Association insists transparency in transfers by publishing priority list.
Though Advisor (Safety) / RB has advised COM / SWR to shift the responsibility of point cleaning to S & T department, no action from Operating Department.
We once again request Sr.DOM to outsource the work of station cleanliness and responsibility to be shifted to health department.
Even in 21st century we are forced to live without basic amenities like drinking water and toilet facility in many stations.
Many stations plunge into darkness once EB supply fails. The so-called largest employer in INDIA is not able to provide alternate source. Though Government of India insists in tapping renewable energy.
DEC requests all SMs to attend this important meeting on 25th February at SBC at 1100 hrs where we are required to take important decision on future course of action.

Station Masters are the most deprived section of the Railways.
ASMs are always threatened by the Administratio with the weapon of transfer. Promotion prospect is very bleak.
