3 killed as express train rams another
LUCKNOW: Three people were killed and 14 injured when the Kanpur-bound Kalindi Express rammed the stationary Delhi-Kanpur Shram Shakti Express from behind near the Tundla junction in Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.
The guard cabin of the Shram Shakti Express, an unreserved compartment, and a compartment reserved for disabled persons were damaged in the accident, which occurred at around 8.15 a.m. on Saturday. Dense fog The accident has been attributed to dense fog. The deceased, two women and a child, were in the Shram Shakti Express. According to Firozabad district officials, the injured were admitted to the Railway Hospital in Tundla. Four seriously injured persons were referred to the Agra Medical College.
